The sound is not first-rate, but quite acceptable as compared to some of Perahia's other analog Mozart piano concerto recordings under the same label. In terms of the performance, both concertos are superlative; K. captures Perahia's sensitive playing more convincingly than Brendl's version for Philips while the outer movements of K. is suprisingly dramatic and intense, coming from Perahia/5(10).
